
Claudia Misner
Claudia started riding horses in Germany at age 8. She was involved in Training and Showing for a large Dressage barn until 1991 when she relocated to the USA. Claudia still goes home to Germany where she continues to take lessons and expand her knowledge. She began training horses, giving lessons and holding clinics at Crown Hill Farm until the spring of 2004 when she became head trainer at Taura Farms in Mount Vernon, MO. She is involved in every aspect of the training, showing, breeding and lessons.
Claudia has been actively involved with the Shoal Creek Pony Club as she feels the Youth are our future and wants to pass on correct riding principles and proper horse management.
Claudia has eventing students that have seen great improvement as they come to realize that Dressage is the basis for all good riding.
Claudia is a L-Graduate with Distinction , a USDF Certified Instructor through 2nd Level and a USD Bronze Medallist.
Claudia works regularly with Cathy Zappe of Alabama and Rebecca Rigdon of California, both certified through 4th Level. She was also a Demo Rider for Jane Savoie, as well as attending clinics and symposiums with Steffen Peters, Robert Dover, Hubertus Schmidt, Conrad Schumacher, Charlotte Bredahl-Baker, Charles de Knuffy, Beth and Jennifer Baumert.
